   I received this 2×6 runner rug through the vine voice program in exchange for an unbiased review. The size isn’t my favorite, but it was what was offered, so I view it as a sample of sorts. It’s a beautiful rug and I’m seriously considering getting the 11×15 fullsize carpet for my family room. It feels good on bare feet and the non-skid bottom works great on my tile floor. The color is very light, which will open up the room. But between spilled beverages and cats who prefer to throw up on something soft, I do anticipate I’ll need to clean this carpet fairly often. I do recommend but if you prefer a carpet that will hide spills a bit longer, this might not be practical for you.

This area rug/carpet runner seems very well made with quality materials. Incredibly soft, it feels amazing under-foot. This area rug has an attractive texture that is subtle yet elegant, and very attractive. The sculptured pattern is what I would call a bohemian chic design. Great neutral grey color that matches my decor perfectly. This area rug/carpet runner has a non-slip backing that keeps it perfectly in place. And I love the fact that it comes rolled instead of folded, which eliminates any fold lines/creases. Bottom line, this is a beautiful area run offering excellent quality and value, and I would highly recommend.

   Good things- Rug material feels soft and pleasant underfoot, more than expected.Okay things- Rubbery grips on bottom are so-so at keeping rug in place, no worries about slipping while walking on it, but it does shift, needs repositioning every so often. I tried putting it right up against the bedframe, previously had it out by a few inches, but it still moves about. Also, maybe it’s just me, because the actual materials are perfectly fine up close, but something about the color and pattern of the rug at a distance makes it look dingy or dirty even though it’s not. I am going to move the rug to the laundry room and find something prettier for the bedroom. That seems like a very good place for this rug, and at time of review is about $40 which seems about right for a laundry room rug.Not great- Cannot wash the rug. If you have ever used a carpet cleaner, you know how dark and dirty the soapy water gets even on a regularly-vacuumed carpet with no apparent stains. I don’t have carpeting so instead of renting a carpet cleaner, I like to lay out all the rugs on the driveway and wash them with biodegradable soap. I’ve never encountered a synthetic-fiber, non-shedding rug that couldn’t be cleaned. The product description “easy maintenance” indicates vacuuming and spot cleaning, I just thought it was advertising the rug’s unfussy maintenance, not that it was completely un-washable.

   This is a nice little runner, that felt very soft on my bare feet. It’s neutral color goes nicely with a lot of different furniture and hardwood flooring. It did not slip at all, even when charging dogs were running over it. It looks very nice in our from entrance hall.It is on the small side for a runner and has limited places where it will work. Our upstairs hallway is too long and or entrance hallway is a bit too wide for it, though it doesn’t look too out of place. A little dirt spot came clean without any difficulty, and it seems like it will hold up well over time.

   This runner is exactly as described and depicted. It has just enough pile to make it super soft and cushiony under your feet, but still low enough to vacuum without any trouble at all. You can manipulate the gray stripes to be softer or bolder depending on which way you swipe the fabric. I took a photo of each to show the coloring, although they are definitely softer gray stripes in person. The camera likes to pick up and intensify the contrast. I have it on cheap carpet and it hasn¡¯t budged an inch, nor is anyone tripping over it.Wouldn¡¯t hesitate to order another rug from this brand. Thinking about a longer size for my longer hallway. ??
