When I bought this bookshelf there were no reviews so I was unsure of the quality and what to expect. Glad I bought it, it is very nice looking and VERY sturdy. We were doing some repairs around the time I bought this so I placed lots of items on it and it held everything good without a problem. Also, pretty easy to build, took about 45 minutes on my own. Only issue I had when putting it together was when connecting one of the tubes; I had to really push because it didn’t want to go in due to the paint it seemed, but the help of a hammer should quickly do the trick. Definitely recommend! Looks just as pictured.

No one can tell from looking at the end result but I was worried that I would have to return it if it didn¡¯t fit. I switched some pieces around and made it fit. When I did that some of the gold paint inside came off. Again – not something that will be noticeable at the end.

Even with all the distractions this shelf was no problem to get assembled. The shelves themselves are heavy and good quality. The faux marble on the shelves is very subtle and classy. The gold frame doesn¡¯t look like too much in person. All in all it¡¯s a sturdy shelf.
