Electric blankets heat from the top down, but heat rises, right? A mattress topper that heats from the bottom, it’s a thing. The first night it took a little, by that I man a little, getting used to the feeling of the heating element. As the night went on and things settled into place they disappeared into the mattress and have been unnoticed since. The heat is even and comfortable when on, the timer works as advertised. If you have someone like me that sleeps hot you can simply not plug in one side of the bed and things will work just fine on your partners side.I have only one gripe, that is the location of the connector is on top of the mattress, on each corner of the foot of the bed. It’s large and protrudes significantly. If you are a taller person or sleep with your feet near the foot of the bed you are likely going to kick the connector and stub your toe. Ask me how I know. It would be trivial to place the connector on the side of the bed ad totally avoid this poor design choice.
