This blanket is soft and thick – feels good and looks good. It heats up quickly and the wires heat more of the blanket than many others. I love having a wide variety of options for heating and auto shut off. My last blanket had so many ridiculous and impossible actions to wash it. I haven¡¯t washed this one yet, but the instructions are simple. So, so happy with this blanket!! (My cats approved this review.)

I ordered a twin mainly because these blankets are pricey. But it’s very soft, light weight, heats up quickly, well-made (I sew a lot), has a Sherpa backing, and plenty of heated coverage for one person (I’m 5′ 7″ and slim build). The coils extend about 6 inches from all four edges. I don’t notice the wires, most likely, because I have another light blanket plus a cotton sheet underneath it. Unlike my previous electric blanket, this one doesn’t adjust its temperature down just because it senses your body heat. That “smart” feature made it impossible to actually feel any heat coming from it.The controller I received is different than the one pictured. It has a “P” button that turns the blanket on high for about an hour then automatically drops the temperature to your selected heat level.Now, I feel spoiled getting into a warm bed at night. Before, I thought I would always have to bear the icy sheets for 30 minutes before my cold-blooded nature would build up enough heat to warm them. I am so smitten with this blanket, I am buying another for the winter trips I take in my camper. Price be hanged.

Bought for my tall husband. Most throws are not long enough. This is perfect. It¡¯s big enough for both of us. The heating option is a bonus on really cold evenings. Heats quickly and is evenly distributed. Fabric is soft and doesn¡¯t shed.
