   It was a great Hammer drill, The Product was in a very sturdy case and seemed to be made very well. I ordered it on accident but have to admit I almost didn¡¯t want to send it back it was a well-made tool that worked flawlessly.

   This tool is very useful for ripping up ceramic tile or breaking up a cracked walkway. I also used this to drill several holes in the wall of the house. It was bigger and more powerful but more expensive and heavy to use. Worked great.

   Cant really say much about how long it will last but it busts right through concrete and seems to drill through some of the hardest rock ive ever needed to drill through. had a tough time chipping through that rock but went through all the other rocks very well.like i said that one rock was the hardest ive ever came across.this drill is pretty heavy but i think that kind of helps control it.jack hammer,rotory hammer and chipping gun for a little over $100.00,its worth it even if it only lasted one job.

   Having used multiple types of hammer drills for masonry and demolition work, I have some experience with different models and levels of performance. This is a basic budget quality tool that lacks the bells and whistles and reliability of a unit that is ¡°name brand.¡± If you¡¯re expecting that level of quality and want to use this tool daily or for extended periods, don¡¯t purchase this drill. It won’t meet those expectations and you’ll end up returning it. However, if you¡¯re looking for something that will operate on occasion and don¡¯t want to break the bank, this is a good option. It¡¯s good for occasional use on home projects and I think it performs well given its price point. You can definitely tell that it has some cheap components on it and many of the plastic toggles feel like you need to be delicate with them or you risk breakage. If this was listed for a higher price point, it’d be three star. But for a homeowner with limited applications, this is a good option at a price that does beat out what I could find shopping around my local hardware stores.

   I got this because I need a hammer drill of smaller format than my bulldog SDS drill.This one seems ok.It definitely draws power. The lights on the same circuit dimmed noticeably (that brief dimming on initial startup) more than usual when I used it.The ergonomics are fine and totally comparable to other brand name 1/2″ drills. It comes with an ok auxiliary handle that has positive position locks that mate with positioning “dogs” on the drill body.The chuck operates smoothly and seems of good quality with no “eyeball” noticeable runout after a brief run in.The controls are easily spotted (orange) and follow a layout common to power drills.It comes with an assortment of common bit sizes that include a few masonry and metal bits, a depth guide, aux handle and a chuck key. There is a key retainer on the handle butt.On 1st startup, the rotation seemed a bit rough, but smoothed out after a few seconds. Maybe it needs to “wear in” a bit. The variable speed trigger works well and a range dial is included on the trigger.I couldn’t get the trigger lock to work in any mode, or any speed. It would engage, but allowed the RPM to slow to just a couple of revolutions/minute.It will be fine for my uses.

   This review is for 7-Amp (850W) Hammer Drill, $50 on Garvee.This electric plug-in drill has a ?¡± Jacob¡¯s keyed chuck (not keyless). I actually prefer a Jacob¡¯s chuck in those high-torque applications, like masonry drilling, where I want to really sock down the chuck for a firm grip.As is typical of larger high torque drills it comes with an auxiliary handle for two hand grip.If I compare this against my Craftsman hammer drill it has greater amperage rating of 7 amps versus 6 amps for my Craftsman.It comes with a 10 bit pack of combination HSS split tip and Carbide tipped bits for Masonry/tile drilling.As with all hammer drills there is a slide switch to change from standard drilling to hammer drilling. Note: If you are new to hammer drilling you need to know that you will not experience the hammer effect until the bit is pressed down against the object to be drilled, i.e., you will not hear any hammer noise if you just press the trigger without first pressing down on the bit.Checked the drill out with one of its 1/4¡± masonry (carbide tipped) bits. Chewed though a concrete block like proverbial butter.

   I consider myself a handy woman, I use this hammer drill to put up some shelves .. one of the first thing I noticed ,was this awful burning smell. I¡¯m not sure if the smell is due to the power tools/drill breaking them self in or some other matters ¡­So far, so good, the smell seem to burn away, as I got further into my project.. My only concern is I wish the hammer drill had a rubber grip handle¡­. Because the handle on this Drill is just a hard, plastic. with a hard plastic design, that I felt the entire time in my hand. So I had to use gloves , so that I wouldn¡¯t create any calluses in the palms of my hands¡­ over all, this hammer drill with drill, bits, seem to have worked just fine for me , the drill is heavy duty with a nice length extension cord¡­

    I very much like this hammer drill. All aspects met or exceeded my expectations/assumptions. To be specific, I didn’t expect much from the depth guage. But it does work. It is plastic, but it stays put. The drill itself, was very good. The hammer action was more intense than I expected, in a good way. No vibration on your hands, but very impactful performance. The chuck key is located on the base of the handle. This might be my favorite part because I hate loosing the chuck keys. Also suprizingly, the concrete bits it came with were really tough. Please see my short video plowing through a piece of granite in the back yard. (I was looking for the hardest material I knew of to test it on) zero issues. It’s tools like this, where you definitely don’t need to buy name brand. This is a win for me.

    With all the cordless drill options out there, sometimes you just need the power of a corded drill. I picked this up because I needed just that, and I needed a hammer drill to be able to drill into brick and stone easily. This drill with its hammer function allows me to punch through brick easily. Being corded it has plenty of power for this, or for mixing grout, paint, and the like, another reason I picked this up. The drill itself is very heavy, and very nose-heavy; it comes with an auxiliary handle that is a must use in my opinion. The drill body is some kind of resin/plastic, very tough and dense and looks like it will be very durable. Having a 1/2¡± chuck on this is also a plus as I do use a bit that large occasionally. As far as power goes, this drill has plenty, and the hammer function works very well.This drill so comes with five masonry bits and 5 HSS (I believe) drill bits; these are good stop-gaps. It is a good budget drill option, definitely not a pro- or prosumer-level drill, but one that will serve my purposes nicely. It is fairly priced and a good corded drill to have on hand.

    This gets the job done . Although the drill bit and the way you change it out isn¡¯t as fast as the upgraded ones these days and it could be a b** if you need to constantly change it out and tighten it with the key that came with this¡ª- it still gets the job done .
